Overview:

The SNZB-05P is a low-power water leak sensor using the Zigbee 3.0 protocol to detect water leaks in real-time. It offers multiple detection methods for various scenarios: an elevated probe design can detect liquid levels as low as 0.5 mm, even on metal surfaces, without false triggers. Its concave water collection design captures drips to stop leaks at their source, making it ideal for drip detection. When paired with a water leak detection cable (sold separately or as part of a sensor kit), the SNZB-05P provides flexible monitoring for both wide and narrow areas, making it perfect for basements, laundry rooms, and under sinks. The extension cable can be connected in series without length limitations for broader coverage.
Water damage often goes unnoticed until it's too late, but with the Sonoff SNZB-05P, you’ll receive app push notifications when a leak is detected. Local Zigbee scenes can also trigger the gateway's alarm, even if WiFi is down. It supports email alerts (with an eWeLink Advanced plan) and SMS notifications (through IFTTT), providing multiple notification options to help you take quick action and prevent costly damage or mold growth. During an active leak, the sensor sends alerts every ten minutes to avoid missed notifications due to network issues, ensuring your home stays protected.
Powered by a CR2477 battery, the SNZB-05P has over 5 years of battery life, reducing the need for frequent replacements. It’s IP67-rated for waterproof and dustproof performance, with short-term immersion protection and reliable operation in humid or dusty conditions. The gold-plated probes resist corrosion, and the UV-resistant materials help prevent discoloration over time.
The SNZB-05P integrates with Zigbee 3.0-compatible hubs, including the Sonoff NSPanel Pro, Sonoff iHost, Sonoff ZB Bridge (P/U), and the SmartThings Hub v3.
