WeMos D1 Lithium Battery Charger Board with Mini USB

Overview:

The WeMos lithium battery shield offers a convenient way to power the WeMos mini or WeMos mini Pro using a single-cell (3.7V) lithium battery. This shield features a DC-DC converter that steps up the battery's 3.7V to 5V, providing up to 1A of power for the WeMos mini and associated shields.

When the battery is depleted, simply connect the shield to a USB power source using a mini USB cable for automatic recharging. Two LEDs on the shield indicate the charging status, with one lighting up during charging and the other signaling when the charging process is complete.

With the battery shield, the D1 mini can operate wirelessly without a USB cable. By connecting it to a lithium battery (normal range 3.3-4.2V), you can enjoy the flexibility of placing the D1 mini anywhere. The ports on the shield include XH2-2.54mm (Port 1) for connecting to the lithium battery, a micro USB charging port (5V), and LEDs for charging status indication. Additionally, the shield includes a J1 port for setting the maximum charging current to either 0.5A or 1A.
