To operate, the Sonoff ZBMINIR2 requires a Zigbee hub, such as the Sonoff NSPanel Pro, Sonoff iHost, Sonoff ZB Bridge (P/U versions), Philips Hue, SmartThings Hub v3, or Echo Plus 2nd generation.
As a Zigbee router device with ‘Turbo Mode,’ the ZBMINIR2 supports up to 64 Zigbee end devices, strengthens signal reliability, and expands network coverage for optimal performance.
Frustrated by smart bulbs disconnecting when external switches are off? Use the 'Detach Mode' to keep your smart bulb connected, even when the external switch is off. Additionally, protect against power surges after outages with the ‘Delay Power-On’ feature, which prevents high-current damage by staggering the power-on sequence when multiple loads turn on simultaneously.
Built on the Zigbee 3.0 standard protocol, the ZBMINIR2 integrates smoothly with third-party open-source platforms like Home Assistant and Zigbee2MQTT (requires a Zigbee Dongle, such as the Sonoff ZBDongle-P or ZBDongle-E), making it an ideal addition to your home automation setup.
