Overview:

MINIR4M is Sonoff's inaugural Matter device, designed to recognize and collaborate with other brands of Matter end devices. It seamlessly integrates into Matter-enabled platforms such as Apple Home, Google Home, and Alexa, making the dream of controlling all smart devices through one app a reality. Matter-certified devices, like MINIR4M, support local communication in the home network. Even if the network is disconnected, MINIR4M continues to function normally, offering faster responsiveness and better reliability.
Adding MINIR4M to Matter-compatible apps is straightforward. Simply scan the provided Matter QR code with your Matter-Compatible App, and MINIR4M is easily configured by following the steps outlined in the app.
Equipped with an ESP32 chip, MINIR4M's compact size allows it to fit into various mounting boxes, including 86/EU type and 120 type mounting boxes. MINIR4M supports external switch control, easily connecting to momentary switches, door exit switches, SPDT switches, latching switches, and even dry contact sensors.
MINIR4M introduces a "detach relay" mode, where the states of external switches and the relay are separated. This ensures that operating the external switch button won't affect the relay state. For example, with "detach relay" mode enabled, turning off the light won't make your smart light go offline, and you can still use the app to control smart lights.
