The Sonoff MINIR4 is a WiFi smart switch equipped with an ESP32 chip that can turn traditional switches into smart switches, automating lights and electronic devices. Its tiny size allows it to fit in various mounting boxes, including the smallest EU-type/86 type/120 type mounting box.
MINIR4 supports external switch control and can easily connect to momentary switches, door exit switches, SPDT switches, latching switches, and even dry contact sensors. It also has a "detach relay" mode, which means the states of external switches and the relay are separated. Therefore, operating the external switch button won't affect the relay state. For example, if you open the "detach relay" mode and turn off the light, your smart light won't go offline, and you can still use the app to control it.
MINIR4 is also a smart switch with the gateway function of "eWeLink-Remote". After pairing with MINIR4, it can be controlled locally by S-MATE through the "eWeLink-Remote" signal and can trigger other smart devices in the smart scene.
